Hold up, let me set the stage…

I am obsessed with Beyoncé. I am her #1 biggest fan. I’ve been to all her concerts, worship her voice, idolize her style, I legit even have a queen bee tattoo. She runs the world. The Queen. The soundtrack to my life and forever my inspiration.

With that in mind, when I first heard that Bey signed with adidas, and Kamp was going to be briefed on the first ever adidas x Ivy Park launch… I was in disbelief. How did all the stars align for me to be at Kamp Grizzly, and Kamp to land an adidas x Ivy Park project, and I be lucky enough to be put on said project. It was a moment i’ll never forget… I got the chance to work on my dream project.

adidas x Ivy Park: 2020 Launch

In January of 2020 adidas x Ivy Park were set to launch their first ever highly anticipated collection. A team at Kamp Grizzly was briefed on the full project: Campaign Design, adidas.com, Social Roll-out and Seeding. Although I contributed to the overall campaign design (I even got to go to the shoot); my special piece of this project was designing Seeding Kits that would be mailed out to all of adidas, Ivy Park and Beyonce’s closest friends & family. As the project transpired the list of recipients got longer and more high profile - and i got more excited.

In the end, I designed, rendered, got approved by Bey, and helped produce 3 different packages:
1) A custom Rolling Rack for recipients of the full adidas x Ivy Park collection.
2) A custom Wardrobe Trunk for recipients of a ton of the collection.
3) A custom shippable Wardrobe Box, for recipients of some of the collection.
